1. About Flat.mx
Flat.mx is a platform operated by Flat Servicios Financieros S.A.P.I. de C.V., SOFOM E.N.R., a regulated Mexican financial institution that provides mortgage loan services to foreigners purchasing property in Mexico. Our platform includes informational tools — a loan calculator, an eligibility checker, and contact forms — designed to help users understand their financing options. All loan products are denominated exclusively in Mexican Pesos (MXN).
2. Loan Calculator and Eligibility Tools
The loan calculator, eligibility checker, and scenario comparison tools are provided for informational and estimation purposes only. Results are preliminary estimates based on the data you provide and do not constitute a binding offer, pre-approval, or commitment to provide financing. Final loan terms — including interest rates, LTV ratios, origination fees, and eligibility — are subject to a comprehensive evaluation of your financial profile, the specific property, and prevailing market conditions. Flat.mx reserves the right to modify the parameters and methodology of these tools at any time without prior notice.
3. User Obligations
By using our platform, you agree to: (a) provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in all forms and interactions; (b) not use the platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose; (c) not attempt unauthorized access to any part of our systems; (d) not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any platform content without prior written authorization from Flat.mx. Flat.mx bears no responsibility for errors caused by inaccurate information you provide.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Flat.mx platform — including text, graphics, logos, brand elements, loan simulations, eligibility assessments, and software — is the exclusive property of Flat Servicios Financieros S.A.P.I. de C.V. or its licensors, protected by Mexican and international intellectual property laws. No content may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited without prior written authorization.
5. Limitation of Liability
Flat.mx provides its platform and tools on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flat.mx shall not be liable for: (a) any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform; (b) losses resulting from decisions made based on information or estimates provided by our tools; (c) service interruptions, technical errors, or data loss; (d) actions or omissions of third parties, including notaries, legal advisors, or financial partners. Use of our tools does not create a contractual, advisory, or fiduciary relationship between you and Flat.mx.
6. Data Protection
The collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on this website. By using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy. Your personal data may be processed, stored, and transferred in accordance with the LFPDPPP and as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Flat.mx platform — including submitting information through our forms, using the loan calculator, or interacting with our eligibility checker — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their current version. If you do not agree with any provision, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.
8. Modifications
Flat.mx reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the platform. Your continued use after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute arising from or related to the use of this platform, both parties expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond by reason of domicile or otherwise.
